Personal: Spring is here!

Hi everyone, just a quick note. Things are going to be a bit slower right now, as our family is in high gear in both calving season and maple sugar season. So juggling working full time, and the farm and the woods, Scuffed Boots is going to be taking a back seat for a few weeks. However, things are getting planned for Equine Review already! Maternity: Jess + Justin (Sneak Peak)

Last weekend I had a chance to catch up with an old friend, meet a new one, and capture some great photos for them at this stage in their life. Justin and I have known each other since we were probably, 10? Maybe younger? So when I found out Justin and his girlfriend, Jessica were expecting, I KNEW I’d be taking some maternity shots for them. Mostly cause he’s like a little brother and I tend to like to bully him like that.
Little did I know that Jess actually used to ride at my coach’s barn, and since I originally started out taking equine related photos, we decided an equine maternity session was just what we needed! I’m really excited for these shots, and wanted to get a few up here before Jess’s baby shower tomorrow. PS – They are expecting a little girl, and I cannot wait to meet little Jamie-lee Rachel Beers very soon, and can already tell I’ll be seeing her on a pony some day!
Also want to give a thank you to The Wilson’s (Wayne, Marsha and Shonda) for the use of Springwater Stables for this shoot! And my trusty assistant/horse groom/ear pricker Danielle.
