Well, if you follow my Facebook page, you may have noticed that I was going to have a big announcement on June 1st. WELL, I can’t wait any longer, so I’m going to do the big announcement today!
I’m very excited to say that I will be going full time with Scuffed Boots Photography as of June 10th, 2010. That’s right! Mon – Fri hours, plus weekends, so I’m going to have a lot of spots for photoshoots opening up, and will also be taking on more graphic design projects.
So, in celebration of this, I’m going to be running a Spring special from now until June 21, 2010! Check out the details below.

- Up to 50 proofs in a password protected gallery

This is $25 off my normal shoot fee, and with the no travel costs that’s a HUGE savings for you! 2010 Prom Packages

Well, last year I had a lot of great feedback on the prom packages, so instead of changing things around, were going to keep them the exact same for this year! I’m also going to have room for multiple prom shoots per day, but their booking fast! Contact me ASAP to book the best time slots!
Royal Prom Package – $300.00
This package includes 2 hours of before prom coverage, of up to 10 couples! Pose with your date, your friends and as a whole group in your decided location. Parks, farms, fields, or even just downtown, the options are endless. All packages only include 1 location, so time isn’t wasted on traveling. Each person of the 10 couples will also receive a $20.00 print credit towards prints. This is a great package for large groups, and can be as low as $15.00* per person!
Mini Royal Prom Package – $200.00
This package is great for a tight group of friends who want to celebrate their night together! With a maximum of 5 couples, we spend an hour capturing the laughs, the smiles and even the happy tears! Be as creative as you want while picking your location. Follow the crowd or find your own. Have the same favorite hang out spot? Or maybe you love the look of your grandparents old barn. The sky is the limit for locations. This package also includes an $20.00 print credit towards prints, and can be as low as $20.00* per person.
Private Prom Sessions – $80.00
Looking to celebrate with just the 2 of you? Our private prom sessions are great for couples who are great on their own. With our undivided attention on you and your date, we’ll capture moments that will give you butterflies years later, or just make you giggle! Choose your favorite hang out spot, even if it’s just your back yard. 30 mins will be spent one on one with my camera and I, and the private package comes with an $20.00 print credit as well. At only 40.00 per person, it’s a great way to celebrate the end of school and the next step on life’s path.

Events : Gala Expo!

Well, it’s the end of a lovely Sunday. My back hurts from hard concrete floors, my toes have blisters on top of blisters, and I’m trying my hardest to keep my eyes open as I right this I’m so tired. But it was all worth it!! And for those of you who were there, you know why!

Today was the long awaited ACS Formals – Gala Expo! And we had a blast! So many people went through our booths! Brides and Grooms to be, Mothers of Brides, Maids of Honour, High School Grads, you name it you came! I want to thank each and everyone of you for stopping by, picking up a card, and entering our draw.
Our lucky winner was Renelle Leger! Congratulations to her!
You’ll notice a bit more activity around here this week. Updating, adding more portfolio examples, so on and so forth.
I also want to launch my current Wedding Packages. Those of you that attended today might have seen a preview, so now you can see it all in detail.

Well, as sad as it is to say, Summer of 2009 is on it’s way out. The days are getting shorter, the weather calls for possibilities of frost, and the horses are starting to grow winter coats. And of course.. the leaves are changing. So, I thought it was as good of a time as any to announce some upcoming changes for Scuffed Boots Photography!
As of January 1, 2010 the packages that I currently offer will no longer exist. I am changing to a whole new system with some really AWESOME new products, and services. CD’s will no longer be included in sessions, but will still be available to purchase as a product!
That means that my wedding packages will be changing too. HOWEVER, you can still take advantage of our current prices before they change, even into next year. As long as you book before January 1, 2010 and pay a 50% down payment on your session, that price and package will be honored! Works for gift certificates too*! My current session prices and wedding packages are both posted on this site, but custom packages can be worked out! Just send me an email!
* – Gift certificates do have to be paid in full for the service chosen.
There will also be some slight changes to my Livestock Event Services. If any show organizers want to know the changes now, as they prep for the 2010 season, feel free to send me a message at jill.renton@scuffedboots.ca and I’ll give you a preview!
Now, on that note, with the upcoming changes and the changing leaves… that’s a perfect time to book a fall session! I still have bookings available for September, October and November! Cut off date to have for Christmas is November 15th. We’ve been having some great fall weather so contact me ASAP to book in your spot!
