It’s the little things that count.. – Automotive

July 12, 2010 | Filed Under Automotive, Shoots

As most of you know, I’ve been doing Scuffed Boots Photography full time for about a month, and what a month it’s been. My editing is a little backed up, and I know you guys are anxiously waiting for them. But what I’ve learned already is that there always needs to be a balance. A balance between working (which most definitely is not an 8 – 5 work day) and personal time.

So, this weekend I gave myself a break. And I shot something that was really fun for me, and something I normally don’t get to shoot. Besides photography and horses, I love cars. I’m definitely not a mechanic, so don’t bother calling me if your in a jam, but it’s the outsides that I love. Metallic paint, chrome accents, smooth bodylines… That’s my favorite. So since the 10th Annual Atlantic Nationals were in town, it made for a perfect mini break. I focused on the little things the most, hood ornaments, emblems, lines in the vehicles, as to why it’s the “little things that count”.

So hears some bits and pieces from the car show, and hopefully some day, there will eventually be a Scuffed Boots car in that show, whatever it ends up being.
